Battery type explanation:
SEALED MAINTENANCE FREE:
Each battery comes with a container of electrolytes. Once the electrolytes are added, the battery is then sealed permanently and becomes leak proof. The battery MUST be charged in accordance with the instructions (typically very low amperage for several hours). These batteries technically have a longer life because they have not been activated yet. These are great if you plan to replace your battery at a future date.
FACTORY ACTIVATED MAINTENANCE FREE:
These batteries are sealed and activated right out of the box. They should be given a charge before installation.
